Appraisal:
Ruby red with a brilliant shade
Fairly rich intro of small red fruit (cherry, raspberry), with flowery
and smoky hints supported by a good woody nose.
Smooth attack, which develops on a fine and elegant body. The tannins
are ripe and well established, while the finale is pleasant and
slightly woody.
What the press said about it:
DUSSERT-GERBER 2006
A real charmer, the 1999 has a complex bouquet intermingling hints
of fruit and heather, harmonious, rich and perfumed, a fine colour,
a wine full in the mouth which is particularly popular at the moment.

Appraisal:
Lovely dusky red colour
Fine bouquet. hints of venison. When shaken, the ripe red fruits
reemerge, a little spicy and with a hint of cinnamon.
The taste in the mouth is a reflection of the nose.
Good holding in mouth, with a slightly woody finale.
What the press said about it:
HACHETTE GUIDE 2004
Powerful bouquet of black cherry, prune, but also a strong flavour
of roasting. Well structured, flavoursome but dominated by woodiness
in the mouth. Will require 2 to 3 years to blend.
DUSSERT-GERBER 2005 and 2006
The 2000 is remarkable, with a fine intense ruby colour, very well
balanced, rich and subtle nose and mouth, with shades of macerated
fruit and undergrowth, holds up well.

Appraisal:
Fine ruby colour and brilliant glossy shading
Deep bouquet of black fruits accompanied by a fine and spicy woodiness.
Warm and ample in the mouth, with a very persistent fruity aperitif
flavour. The tannic fabric is simultaneously fine and solid.

A character wine with an intense ruby colour, an equally intense
bouquet of black fruit, accompanied by a fine and spicy woodiness.
Warm and ample in the mouth. The tannic fabric is simultaneously
fine and solid. Fine expression of the grape variety mix and vintage.
DUSSERT-GERBER 2005 and 2006
The 2001 is warm with firm tannins and a nose dominated by cherry
and leather, associating fullness and structure. A full-bodied and
distinctive wine that is worth waiting for to take advantage of
its potential.

Appraisal:
Fine ruby colour and deep glossy shading
Slightly woody bouquet. Complex nose dominated by spicy hints of
blackberry and undergrowth.
An ample and elegant mouth. Intense tannins allied to a fine structure
make it a wine that is both distinctive and very pleasant.
What the press said about it:
HACHETTE GUIDE 2006
After a fresh and fruity attack, the mouth is also quickly dominated
by wood. This character wine will require two years to blend.
DUSSERT-GERBER 2005
The 2002 is well structured, elegant, with dense tannins, full in
the mouth and slightly spicy, a fine bouquet and hints of blackberry
and undergrowth, nicely coloured and combining structure with a
velvety texture in the mouth.
